Frequently asked questions
If you can't find the answer, write to us at contact@takimo.app.
Does booking with Takimo cost anything?
No. Booking is free for patients. You pay for the visit at the clinic, as always, and nothing is paid online.
Do I need a password?
No. Enter your phone number and you receive a six-digit code by SMS. There is no password to remember.
Are the slots I see really free?
Yes. Slots are calculated from the doctor's real calendar: days off, public holidays and ongoing appointments are all taken into account. Two overlapping appointments are technically impossible.
Can I cancel my appointment?
Yes, free of charge, from your account, up to a few hours before the appointment — the clinic sets the deadline. After that, call the clinic.
I couldn't find a free slot. What can I do?
Join the waiting list on the doctor's page. As soon as someone cancels, you get an SMS and the slot is held for you alone for two hours.
Can I book for my child or my parent?
Yes. Add them under « My people » in your account. The appointment is in their name and every message comes to you. You can do this from abroad too.
Does Takimo see my health data?
No. Not the reason for your visit, not the doctor's notes, not your documents. This is not a promise: the database forbids it, and it is checked automatically with every change to the software.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union, in Frankfurt, encrypted. The site uses no cookies and no visitor tracking.
Do I have to write the reason for my visit?
No, it is optional. If you write it, only the doctor and the clinic reception see it, never the Takimo team, and it never appears in any SMS.
I don't have mobile internet. Can I still book?
Call the clinic as before. Takimo does not replace the phone: reception enters your appointment in the same calendar.
Are you a clinic?
Takimo fills your empty slots and reduces the number of patients who do not show up. See what changes.
